Does Cosentyx work for you?

Has anyone tried Cosentyx? Does it work for you? My MD wants me to try it because I’m allergic to Humira, had failed results with Stelara & Enbrel.

I was on cocentrix for one year in a trial. It completely cleared up my plaque psoriasis did nothing for my arthritis and I got colds every time I got a shot I had pneumonia once and bronchitis most through the whole year. I have been off for 6 months not a single cold and the plaques are just now starting to come back

I am on Cosentyx right now…for the 2nd time. I was on it for several years up until last Oct when I lost insurance. It worked pretty good for 3 out of 4 weeks a month. The last week befor the dose, I would start flaring a little. I was finally able to go back on it in February of this year, and it’s taking it’s sweet time about working. I am clearer than when I’m not taking it though. I don’t have any side effects with it. It doesn’t hurt as bad as Enbrel did when it’s injected. I have tried Stelara, Otezla, Methotrexate, Soriatane, Cyclosporine, etc… this has been the best for me(when it works). 8’m just going to keep trying til it kicks in again. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Hi @AVRIL, someone shared their story here about a year ago and briefly mentioned they tried Cosentyx.

Everyone’s experience is individual, but I know many in the community are on Cosentyx and getting good results. Have you decided whether you’ll try it or not?
    Thanks for being here!
