What are your favorite distractions during a stressful time?

Whether you're mid-flare or worried about the future with psoriasis, we all feel overwhelmed from time to time. What are your favorite ways to distract yourself during uncertain times?

  1. Watching YouTube is a good distraction for me, especially if I'm feeling worn out and can't do much else. If I have the energy I love video games - immersing myself in another world or focusing on solving puzzles, etc. Also playing the piano when I can. What about you, ?

    1. These are all great distractions! Wow, that's awesome you play the piano, I would love to learn how to play an instrument somedat. Lately, I've been distracting myself by reading, cleaning my apartment, cooking, baking and calling friends. Maybe I should learn how to play an instrument, though? Thanks for sharing, !

      1. , I wish cleaning was one of the ways I distracted myself!! They are all great distractions too. I'm not the best at cooking but sometimes I do like to make soup - something about mindlessly chopping vegetables is good for me. I would totally recommend trying to learn to play something, although of course that often comes with its own stresses! 😉

      2. , We have a keyboard and bongos in the apartment but I don't think our neighbors will appreciate that! I completely agree though, chopping veggies, and cooking helps me forget about any stressors. It keeps me sane! If you find a good soup recipe, let me know. Take care, Sarah, Pso Team Member

    2. Listening to music has always been a distraction for me. Some great tunes from the '90s which I can just put my headphones into and listen to.

Otherwise, I do enjoy a good chat. Chatting about how stressful psoriasis can be can be really great I find. - Jack, Community Moderator.
