Getting Diagnosed With Psoriasis

I was diagnosed with psoriasis after I had a reaction to the acne medication I was using. I had to use a combination of vaseline or baby oil to loosen up the chemical reaction on my face. I couldn't talk. A teenager not talking - my parents were relieved (not really)!!!! So I have had psoriasis since I was 12. That is about 40 years now.

Biologics are a life saver

I am using Stelara now. It's a miracle worker as far as I can see. I have done light therapy with and without drugs. Methotrexate. Every cream known to man.

Even so, when Embrel came we tried it. And I had good results until my blood turned bad. And I had to go off it.

All I could do was creams. It was a very long year until we could try something else.

Stelara came out and I have had no problems.
