Not working is really hard when it has been such a big part of your life, it definitely takes some adjustment. Are you able to take up any hobbies? This really helped me when I wasn't working. <br> <br> With regards to your psoriasis I hope you can get some relief soon and can find something that works for and suits you.    <p>Hi Charlee123, <br> <br> I'm sorry that you are going through a hard time right now. I have had psoriasis for over 50 years and psoriatic arthritis for the past 25. I feel your pain. I was 80% covered in scales for 40 years. Do you have a support group were you are? If not, start one. Having other people to talk too does wonders. I am so glad you posted on here. Trust me, I know how you feel. My suggestion to you is don't be quiet about this disease. I spoke at the FDA, I go to Capital Hill, I write, I blog, I speak at meetings and I'm shy. We have to be heard. Let people know how you feel. I know it's hard, but don't let this disease control your life. We have to enjoy life. I don't remember the last time I was pain free, but I talk to someone everyday about my condition. I am here if you need to talk. Diane T</p>

It sounds like you've been through a lot, so I'm really happy that you decided to share your story. <br> <br> Sometimes it can be scary to consider systemic or biologic medications, but definitely discuss these fears with your physicians. I've found that having all my questions answered really helps me make informed decisions and lessens my fear when the "unknown" is removed.
