Hi @diaras! How are you making out these days? I wrote this article last year where I go over all the things that help me (maybe they will help you too!)
    Warm wishes,

Hello Diaras, Not sure how long you have been on Otezla but I tried it for one week and had to get off of it because of severe leg cramps. I then tried Humira for 4 weeks and had no change or improvement. Then on the fifth week my doctor put me on Cosentyx which started to work within a week. I too was a severe case covered with plaque on my head and guttate on my body as well as inverse psoriasis in the folds of my breasts and groin area plus I tried so many creams and ointments prescribed and OTC . Now after being on the 4th week of Cosentyx my skin is almost completely clear and the itching is down by 75% or more. I have also been on UV treatments every other day except weekends since I started Cosentyx and that’s suppose to help with itching as well. What I am trying to say here is that you need a doctor that will be aggressive with your treatment to help you get relief. I was diagnosed in June of 2016 and have seen 9 doctors in total until I found my 9th doctor who wasted on time in helping me after he saw how covered I was in lesions. I also started using an OTC shampoo called MG 217 for Psoriasis the week before seeing doctor #9 and my scalp started to improve after only a week I would wash my hair everyday and left the shampoo in my hair in the shower for at least 10 minutes before I rinsed it off. I told my doctor about this shampoo and he said if it worked to keep using it. Sometimes you have to try different treatments before you find the one that will work for you and I can only pray you find relief soon. Please read all you can about Psoriasis and watch video’s on “YouTube” that will educate you on how it attacks your T-Cells. I do know that Cosentyx attacks the same T-Cells that are causing the Psoriasis so that is probably the reason it is working on me where as Humira does not work the same way and therefore did not work for me. We are all different so what worked for me may not work for you but you have to stay strong and find a doctor that will agressively help you. God Bless!

Hi Diaras….I just saw your note about the itching. I use the lotion called Cutar tel. 800-533-7546, , I rinse my self off in shower, then put a small amount of lotion on wet washcloth and wipe it all over my body – letting the lotion dry on my skin, for about 5-10 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. This really takes away the itch for quite awhile. Then my Dr. has me smear a cream over my body with wet hand and this helps to “thin” my skin and it has some steroid that helps. I only use it when the itch is really bad. I also use “Benadryl cream, lotion, pills. It has saved me numerous times, plus I use the pedi roller that I wrote about. Hope this helps!

    Hi diaras!
I’m so sorry to hear that the itch is driving you bonkers 🙁 It really is an itching like no other! I hope that the Otezla kicks in soon for you (it does take some people a few months before they see an improvement). That being said, if you feel like you are getting concerned that it should be subsiding by now, you should go back and see your Dermatologist so they can determine your progress, and whether or not you need to switch up your medications. If you haven’t checked it out yet, we do have this article on itching (and a few things that can help!).
And although you haven’t mentioned it, I know the itching must be keeping you up at night:

You really are doing the best thing by treating the underlying cause. If the Otezla works like it’s supposed to, you’ll likely see an abatement of the itching just from that. For me personally, when my itching is out of control I take Benadryl and lather myself up in Vicks VapoRub or something else that has menthol. It may not be the case for you, but for me avoiding wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and beans also calms my itching considerably.

I hope you find something that works well for you! Please reach out anytime you need us, we’re here to support you (and we completely get what you’re going through!). Sending hugs to you,
    -VickiN ( team)
