It's not a judgement or sentence.

Nearly 15 years ago, I developed an itchy red patch on my right shin. Soon, another appeared on my back. Over the years, as I learned more about it, psoriasis developed on my other leg, my abdomen and other areas. My solution was to scratch the living hell out of it.

Then I started taking control. I researched diet, topicals, and other therapies. I stopped apologizing for it. Yeah, others may not be comfortable with it, but that's not my problem. (I'm currently scratching as I type - I'm in the middle of it), I may not be able to cure it, but I won't let it define me. I have a whole life to take care of. I'll change my routine as it's best for me.

Never apologize for having psoriasis

It's not a sentence. It's not a judgement. Be okay with saying, "this really sucks", in other words, don't let it affect your mental and emotional health.

And don't apologize. There are many who know what it's like. *fist bump*
