Any ideas for working with psoriasis?
Work is often very difficult, whether it is dealing with coworkers not understanding, being uncomfortable, or just having trouble showing up. Any tips for coping?
Definitely some staples to check out clothing wise: long sleeve shirts and lighter colored clothing because the flakes aren't as noticeble as they are on darker colors. Good luck!
I have been working in the corporate world for over 30 years. I was covered from head to toe in psoriasis most of my working life. The one thing I have learned after all these years is to talk to your colleagues about your conditions from the start so people don’t have to guess what is going on with you. Let them know you’re not contagious and be honest about how it impacts your life. Educate them about your condition; they will respect you more.
