Psoriasis Awareness Month 2021
This August, we are recognizing Psoriasis Action Month! Throughout the month, we will be sharing articles from our advocates and stories from our community members about psoriasis. It has to be said, managing psoriasis is so much more than just itchy skin. This condition impacts our self-confidence, relationships, and everything in-between.
Let's speak some truth here, while we can try to stay positive, it's okay to say out loud that living with psoriasis sometimes, simply put, sucks. Focusing on being comfortable with the uncomfortable, we've decided to recognize Psoriasis Action Month with the theme, Psoriasis Psucks!
Let's take a look at the many ways we'll be taking action throughout the month. And the easy ways you can get involved too!
Share articles with family and friends
In addition to the insatiable itch and painful plaques, psoriasis sucks, even more, when our loved ones struggle to understand the impact of this chronic condition.
It is important for those around us to understand that psoriasis is more than just a skin condition. This is why we encourage you to share these articles with friends and family to give them a real-life look into the daily experience of your psoriasis.

Managing psoriasis can be painful, frustrating, and embarrassing. There is a lot that people without psoriasis are unaware of. Such as that psoriasis can affect more than just the skin. Or, that it is not contagious.
