Hair loss and scalp psoriasis
Scalp psoriasis experience
I've struggled with scalp psoriasis since I was 7 (now 42!) I've tried light therapy, coal tar, and steroids; and nothing keeps it at bay. Every few years I get an episode of hair loss, even when my scalp psoriasis is under control (by that I mean I always have to treat it at least every 2 nights and then comb all the plaques out). The hair loss part mystifies me when my psoriasis remains static, as it happens every few years. Any suggestions are welcome.
