Do You Ever Have A Bad Reaction To Insect Bites With Psoriasis?

Some people say that they get pretty severe reactions to insect bites. They are so bad that they have to take off from work. You can have flu-like symptoms along with some swelling.

Does this happen to anyone else? We would like to hear from you. Also, does this cause infections? Diane (Team Member)

  1. I have to be careful when I am outside during mosquito season. If I get too many bites and they are close together it will turn into a psoriasis patch. It has happened numerous times until I started making sure I was protected. Vickie, Team Member

    1. , I thought this only happened to me. Thanks for sharing, now I really know we are psorsisters!!! How are you doing these days? Diane (Team Member)

  2. Yeah... vicious circle! Insect bite => itch => involuntary scratching => inflammation => psoriasis flare up => lots more itching. Yikes!

    1. , oh, it is a horrible feeling. I don't like the part where the bite turns into psoriasis. It's so frustrating. But you are right, the itch is horrible? Do you used anything to try and calm the itch down? Thanks for sharing. Diane (Team Member)
