What are your top 3 stressors during the holiday season? How do you manage them so they don't result in a psoriasis flare?

  1. People, finances, and controlling my diet while so many sweets are available.

    1. , thank you for chiming in here. People, money and tempting food are issues that definitely become more stressful during the holiday period. I have to say, I really struggle with people over the festive period too. What helps you cope with these stressors? And does your psoriaisis usually flare up over the holidays? 2. Money, family, job

    1. , we hear you. These are all stressors that I think many people struggle with during this time of year. I struggle with family too as everyone is at home and off work - I like my quiet time and it's hard to decompress with lots of people around all the time. Does your job get busier during the festive period? Or is it more just juggling that on top of everything else that goes on during the holidays? And is there anything that helps you cope? 3. Financial, health of my husband he suffers from sinus, also the dryness from the weather makes my psoriasis flare up.

    1. , the financial stressors of the holiday period seem to be quiet common, based on the previous responses to this topic. It's not surprising really with everything going on during the festive period, and how much everything costs! I'm sorry to hear that your husband's health is stressful too. It's hard when someone we love has health problems, especially when we already have our own to be coping with. We definitely hear you on the dry/cold weather too - many people find that this triggers their psoriasis. It sounds like a humidifier would be super helpful for you! Is there anything that helps you manage your psoriasis during the dryer weather at the moment? 4. Food I shouldn’t eat, not enough sleep, unrealized expectations

    1. I hear you—unrealized expectations can be a real challenge, especially during the holidays when there’s so much pressure to do and be everything. How do you cope with this during such a stressful time of year? -Latoya (Team Member)
