How do you manage pain with psoriasis

Chronic pain is a common experience among people with psoriasis. What methods do you use to manage your pain with psoriasis?

  1. , this is a great discussion topic! Personally, the pain I get with my psoriasis is a burning pain. This happens when my plaques are very inflamed. Usually an ice pack is what helps the most. Aloe vera is also quite soothing/cooling but I find that it dries my skin out a bit for some reason. I do still use it sometimes though. I also have psoriatic arthritis so I deal with joint and tendon pain. Again ice packs are really helpful, alongside my methotrexate treatment. I'm looking forward to hearing others' experiences with managing pain!
