How Many Different Pigmentations Do You Have?

I know that this might be a weird question, but my skin has different tones all over. I was told years ago that once the inflammation went away my skin would return to its normal color.

Well, I have been waiting for several decades. My skin color never came back. It looks like I have scars all over my body. It used to bother me when I was younger, but I got over it.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did your regular skin tone come back? We would love to hear from you.
