We know how valuable learning is to our community. We have lots of great information in our articles, but we also want you to learn from each other! This is a safe space to share what you know and learn from others. Ask a question, share an experience, or help a friend in the community.

  1. Mental health carries on a lot when you have psoriasis. I have had severe psoriasis for 61 years. Over that time I have had to conquer depression, anxiety, feelings of guilt, shame, embarrassment, and helplessness. People make you feel like an outsider. I had to get therapy to get beyond some of these things. What have you done to improve your mental health? Diane (Team Member)

    1. Music truly has healing powers! I love listening to music too when I'm not feeling like myself. Is there a certain kind of music that you lean towards? -Latoya (Team Member)

    2. , no I no longer go to therapy. I have 6 grandkids and 1 great-grand. They helped me to realize that it's not always about me. I have always had severe psoriasis. Every single one of them would sit on my lap and rub my psoriasis. That was all the therapy I needed. And you are right about friends. I have 1 best friend of 28 years. She is my medicine. 2. Having my family around me trying medication

    1. does that make you feel more secure especially when it is new medication? Vickie, Team Member
