I suffered with scalp psoriasis for over two years. After a couple of visits to a dermatologist, who recommended that I shampoo daily using T-Gel and massaging my head with an expensive scalp oil. This did not work. I continued using the T-Gel shampoo and tried many over the counter products. My scalp psoriasis was not getting any better. I avoided going to the barber shop, I wore a hat when I went out anywhere. Nothing I tried seemed to help. I have been taking fish oil and vitamin D supplements for years. A couple months ago, I was in Wal-Mart and found a cheap tube of hair and scalp conditioner. I massaged this into my scalp twice a day and after just one 4 Oz. Tube, I noticed that the urge to scratch my head had gone. I purchased two more tubes of this product and last week I visited the barber shop. My barber said my scalp looked great and she could not see any signs of psoriasis in my scalp. It's great to wear my hair short again.
I shampoo daily with T-Gel shampoo and then massage my scalp twice daily with a product you can purchase from Wal-Mart called Pro-Line Comb-Thru lite creme hair and scalp conditioner. What's great is this product works for me and is less than $2.00 for a 4 oz. tube. It does not leave no greasy build- up in your hair. After two years my scalp is not red, flacky, or inflamed.
