What do you love to do?

While psoriasis takes up a good portion of our lives, it is not the only facet of our lives! It's important to consider the things we do that make all the psoriasis management worth it.

How does psoriasis impact what you love to do?

What are your favorite hobbies?

What do you love to do?

How would you describe your identity outside of psoriasis?

  1. I used to love to swim. Problem with that is most pools will say you cannot get in the pool with any open sores. That is not even to mention how people stare at you when you're in a bathing suit with so much skin exposed which shows the psoriasis. Going to a beach is not much different as far as the stares. 1. Swimming and dealing with psoriasis is such a challenge now with all of the rule from the public pools, although I've heard the chlorine used in traditional pools can be harsh on psoriasis skin. Have you found something else that you enjoy doing in lieu of swimming?

      1. I heard my dad say that one about fishing also. He didn't catch one fish that day but it said it was one of the most peaceful times he has ever had by the water. So to hear you say that makes me feel like I need to go fishing soon! But working in a garden sounds just as beautiful and nice! Thanks for sharing this with me! Kindly, Latoya (Team Member)

      2. I hope you do go fishing soon when the weather is warmer. I always look for things that give me a sense of calm and peace. Life gets so busy so I cherish the moments that I can just kind of disconnect. I think that is so important when living with psoriasis. Vickie W., Team Member

    2. Hello , My husband is a fisherman. He loves deep-sea fishing, fly fishing, trolling, etc. He and his friends go out on that water for days. I went out a couple of times, just for the day. It was not for me. Now if you want to drop me off at the casino, that's a whole different story. I am very peaceful and calm and forget I have psoriasis. I leave the whole outside world behind me. LOL!!!
