Has anyone had a skin biopsy?
Have you had a skin punch or biopsy taken? What was it like? How do you prepare?
I had a biopsy taken many years ago to confirm my guttate psoriasis. They took a piece near my spine and it was really painful, even with the freezing. If I was to do it over again I would insist on a place less sensitive. They try and do it where no one will notice the scar, but I would definitely opt for a fleshy leg 😀 I would also take some pain relievers before my appointment. Great question, Rebecca!
