Does Your Psoriasis Bleed?

Years ago, if I had asked myself this question. I would have said no because this only happens when I scratch my skin.

I'm having a very severe flare. I have very thick plaques that sometimes split. I am noticing that these cracks bleed and are very painful. I never noticed this in the past 60 years of having PsO.

I was very concerned, so, I went to my dermatologist who prescribed me a new medication. But, guess what, psoriasis does bleed.

My question to you is, does your psoriasis bleed? Do you use a special treatment if it does? We would love to hear from you.

  1. Hi my psoriasis does bleed and not just when I am scratching. I hate going out in public because of this fact. I have to bring an extra pair of socks with me everywhere I go because I wear shorts in the summertime. It is another annoying factor of having psoriasis. Vickie W., Team Member
