Like I'm all about flannel shirts. I live in a coastal community where flannel just isn't worn, at least not in public, but I love them - in fact I'm wearing one right now (over a soft t-shirt) as it's unseasonably cool here this morning.
Not sure why, but I noticed this winter that I can't get comfortable if the back of my neck is cold. The collar on flannel shirts resolves that. But they're also just cozy and comfortable, and I can roll up my sleeves to do things and they stay up, without stretching out, unlike sweaters or sweatshirts.
I like soft, well-worn sweatshirts as well though (with a lightweight gaitor on my neck, Buff brand is my favorite), and a thick pair of socks.
I wear leggings at home more than jeans - less binding and constricting.
