Pso Living: No New Year’s Resolutions, Just Manifestations

At the end of every year, it has always been my tradition to make a list of resolutions for the following year. While this always is a good idea, in theory, I find myself making the same patterns and breaking the same promises year after year.

So this year, I've decided to ditch resolutions and try something new.

Understanding manifestations

When you manifest a certain circumstance or achievement, you attract it by calling upon the universe or a higher power to make it happen. You reframe your goals positively and phrase them in the present tense even if they haven't occurred yet.

For instance, if you want to lose weight, manifest your intention by saying "I am worthy as I am" or "I am confident in my own body." Here's a step-by-step guide on how I plan to manifest my intentions this new year.

Take time to slow down and reflect

I invite you to reflect on your past year. Ask yourself what you are grateful for and how this year has changed you. What did you struggle with, how did you conquer them, and what did they teach you?

Most importantly, recognize your progress and look at how far you have come.

Let go and release

Reflect on things that you want to finally release in the new year. It may be relationships that you want to cut off, people you want to set free, bad habits that you want to let go of. Any and all negative feelings and mindset that you do not want to carry with you as you start anew.

Determine which things, traits, and people deserve to stay and those that don’t. Get rid of all the things that might hinder you from making your manifestations come true.

Visualize and make a list

Make a list of circumstances that you would like to attract for the coming year. Visualize the best version of yourself that you would want to become. Determine repeating patterns and unhealthy behaviors that you have to unlearn too.

List down specific dreams, hopes, goals, and wishes that you want to attain in the coming year.

Manifest your intentions

When you have already determined what you envision to have and to become in 2021, the next part is to attract it by prayer, meditation, or even by verbally stating your intentions out loud.

It may be weird to verbalize your manifestations in the beginning, but having the right mindset can make all the difference.

Trust the process

As tempting as it seems, merely attracting and wishing for things to go your way is not enough. You have to take proactive steps to turn your dreams into reality. If you want to be healthy, switch up your lifestyle. If you want to succeed in your career, work hard, and work consistently.

Most importantly, trust the process. Trust that the universe will lead you to the path that is meant for you, that you are exactly right where you are supposed to be. Finally, if what you manifest did not come through, it only means that the universe has planned something better for you.
