Aprezo 30mg

I am suffering with plaque psoriasis almost like last 18 years, i used to take mtx tablet, it was under control, recently i visited manipal dictor, he advised to stop this and he kept me on aprezo30 tablets since 2 minths, now seems all patches got removed, but whole body is become brittle, even after applying biolene twice a day, the skin is not soft. Now confused , whether to stop this drug, any experience with this drug?

  1. Hi , thank you for reaching out and sharing your experiences here. I had not heard of Aprezo before, but having done some research it seems that it contains apremilast which I have heard of, and I believe is a generic of Otezla (just sharing this in case others haven't heard of Aprezo before).

It's good to read that your patches have cleared up, but I am sorry to hear about this new skin issue that you are dealing with. When you say brittle, do you mean dry? Or maybe the skin is breaking easily? If you haven't done so already, we would definitely encourage you to check in with your doctor about this, and about whether to continue with the Aprezo.

We do have a few community members who have shared their experiences with different versions of this medication.
