Psoriasis

Is potassium a good way to control it, or make it go away?

  1. Hi , this is a very interesting question. I can't recall reading anything about potassium helping psoriasis but I may well have missed something! Have you been able to ask your doctor about whether potassium would be beneficial for you? I hope anyone with personal experience or further information will chime in on this. In the meantime, here's an article which looks at some potentially helpful supplements for psoriasis: https://plaquepsoriasis.com/psoriasis-affect-health/dietary-supplements Best wishes, -Catherine, Community Moderator

    1. Thanks for reaching out, . Along with Cathy, I have not heard of potassium being used as a treatment for psoriasis, although one of our advocates mentions potassium and it's electrolytes in her article about dandelion salad. I'll link it here, in case you're interested. https://plaquepsoriasis.com/living/benefits-of-plants-herbs Are you looking for natural remedies for psoriasis? I hope some more community members can share any information they might also have. Wishing you a gentle evening -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
