Eye Pain

I was dianosed in March of 25. Doc says Ive had psoriosis/psoriatic arthritis for over ten years. One symptom that has driven me nuts is my right eye. I can feel it in my head. It always feels swollen. Then occassionally it hurts real bad and feels huge. Then the following day it turns red, tears like a waterfall and feels like its full of sand. Now that Im paying closer attention to it. It's a signal to a flare up. Soon after the eye is when my skin plaque goes into overdrive. Im on a biologic, methyltrexate and medrol. Guess I'm headed for eye injections. Eye drops help a litte.

  1. Ugh- I can only imagine the eye pain is frustrating to deal with. It’s almost helpful in a way, but still painful and disruptive to deal with. I’m glad you’re already on a biologic and other meds. Have your doctors talked about what the eye injections would actually do for you day to day? -Latoya (Team Member)
